Megan Even grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota and has called Fargo-Moorhead home since 2008. She holds a BA in English and anthropology and an MA in English composition and rhetoric from NDSU. Megan has been the Director of Development at Plains Art Museum since 2022. Before joining Plains Art, Megan taught English at NDSU and was the Grant Writer for the Fargo Public Schools District Office. In addition to serving on the Board for Michael's House, she is on the Board for the Friends of the Moorhead Public Library and is part of the Kiwanis Club of Fargo.

Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors for Michael's House. He has enjoyed many roles in his pharmacy career of 25+ years and is currently an oncology pharmacist at Roger Maris Cancer Center at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. He has also previously served on the Board of HERO, a nonprofit which provides access to affordable healthcare equipment serving local and global communities.

Brian is passionate about creating meaningful impact and looks forward to working with fellow board members and staff to strengthen initiatives that serve those in need.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys running and biking, and spending time at Minnesota lakes. Originally from Dickinson, North Dakota, he now lives in West Fargo with his wife Lisa, a financial advisor at Midwest Wealth. Together, they have two children, Cameron, a project engineer in construction, and Kendall, an NDSU graduate working in banking and finance.   

Frank Casey serves as Associate Director of Research for the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station at North Dakota State University, where he helps lead a statewide research enterprise spanning the main campus in Fargo and seven Research Extension Centers across rural North Dakota. In that role he oversees operations, budgets, and partnerships for an organization dedicated to serving the people and communities of the region.

Frank joined the NDSU faculty in 2000 and is a professor of soil physics and hydrology. He served as Director of the School of Natural Resource Sciences for a decade before moving into research administration. A widely recognized scientist in soil and water research, he holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University, has authored nearly 100 scientific publications cited more than 3,000 times, and received the Soil Science Society of America's Early Career Award in Soil Physics. His work on water quality and environmental stewardship has been rooted in the land-grant mission: putting research to work for rural families.

At the core of everything Frank does is a call to serve. The mission of Michael's House of welcoming strangers who arrive in a time of fear and need, offering them a room, a meal, and a ride, is a hospitality deeply rooted in his beliefs and Catholic faith. He joins the board so that families facing a medical crisis far from home find comfort, welcome, and hope.

Frank lives in Glyndon, Minnesota, with his wife Sally and their children. He is a runner who also loves cooking meals his family enjoys, fishing, time with good friends, and learning something new.

Tim Richard obtained his law degree in 1997 from the University of North Dakota School of Law. During law school, Tim was a member of the Board of Editors for the North Dakota Law Review and a member of the Environmental Law Society, where he participated in a national environmental law moot court competition. Tim is a member of the Order of the Coif, an honor reserved for the top 10% of a graduating law school class. After graduating from law school, Tim served as a law clerk to federal Magistrate Judge Karen Klein in U.S. District Court in Fargo, North Dakota, before joining the Serkland Law Firm in 1999.

Tim was a shareholder at the Serkland Law Firm from 2006-2025. Tim has extensive experience and expertise in Trusts & Estates, Real Estate and Business Law. Tim helps numerous individuals, family farms and businesses with complex estate, tax and family and business succession planning issues, as well as real estate transactions, contracts and other business governance and operational matters. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel, an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, and was recognized by Best Lawyers in America as the 2023 Real Estate Lawyer of the Year in Fargo and 2024 Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year in Fargo.

Tim is also a member and past president of the Red River Valley Estate Planning Council. Tim has presented numerous programs and seminars to clients, attorneys and other professionals on estate planning, probate, real estate and business issues.

Tim grew up on his family’s farm near Fargo, North Dakota and is an avid outdoorsman. He is the past president of the Dakota Southeast Chapter of Pheasants Forever, where he is active in many conservation projects and promotes youth hunting and shooting sports.

Wade Erickson, AIA, is the President of Foss Architecture + Interiors and has dedicated more than 30 years to the practice of architecture throughout the Upper Midwest. A graduate of North Dakota State University, Wade earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1995 and has built a career centered on thoughtful design, client relationships, and leadership

Wade joined Foss Architecture + Interiors in 2001 and became a licensed architect in 2003. Hiscommitment to excellence and the firm’s continued growth led to his appointment as a Principal in 2008, Vice President in 2009, and ultimately President in 2023. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the planning and design of a wide variety of commercial, educational, civic, recreational, and community-focused projects, earning a reputation for practical problem-solving, collaborative leadership, and delivering high-quality design solutions.

As President, Wade is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, integrity, and exceptional client service while mentoring the next generation of architects and design professionals. He is committed to strengthening communities through architecture that is both functional and enduring.

A lifelong resident of North Dakota, Wade lives in Fargo with his wife, Kristen. Together they have two children. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially at the lake, where they enjoy making the most of Minnesota’s summers.

Dr. Amanda Dahl is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist that covers the state of ND and NW MN. Dr. Dahl is dedicated to improving the health and well-being within our community. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Dahl is committed to advancing healthcare through patient education, advocacy and community engagement. She believes in a collaborative approach to care that supports not only patients but also their families.

As a member of the Board of Directors for Michael's House, Dr. Dahl is honored to contribute medical expertise and deep commitment for serving patients needing medical care and their families. She is passionate about helping the organization fulfill its mission by promoting access to compassionate care, fostering community partnerships and supporting programs that improve the lives of those it serves. Andrea Morrow brings more than 25 years of brand-building and marketing communications experience to the board, with a career spanning insurance, financial services, non-profit, healthcare, engineering, and other highly regulated professional services industries. She holds a bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing communications from Bellevue University.

Andrea currently serves as Senior Director of Marketing at Nodak Insurance Group, where she leads all marketing and communications operations for the organization. Prior to this role, she spent 15 years at Flint Group in Fargo, ND, most recently as VP of Client Services, where she served on the executive leadership team. Throughout her career, she has developed and executed strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen brand positioning and drive growth across complex, highly regulated industries.

A native of Omaha, NE, Andrea made Fargo, ND her home in 2006. She and her husband, Rick, are raising three children and spend much of their time cheering them on at hockey, volleyball, soccer, and figure skating.

Rachel Schmidt grew up in Bemidji, MN, the oldest of five girls. Rachel attended North Dakota State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology with a minor in business administration in May of 1991.

In the mid-2000’s while working in retail management, she found herself doing the books for small businesses out of the spare bedroom in her home. She also worked for a local tax and accounting firm after leaving retail management. She then left that firm and started Accounting by Rachel LLC.

Rachel built her life alongside her husband Mark, and together they raised two boys. Rachel’s husband Mark passed. Rachel’s newest addition is a grandson who has her wrapped around his little finger.

Accounting by Rachel LLC focuses on the small business and what those needs of the business are. Whether it be bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or income tax preparation. Those services are tailored to that business and clients.

Rachel also volunteers with the small community in which she lives. Rachel has volunteered as an EMT and Financial Officer for Kindred Area Ambulance Service for over 20 years.

Ann Marie Coronato holds an AAS degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Brown Mackie College. She has more than 14 years of experience in home health and four years of experience in a skilled nursing facility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. A native of Long Island, New York, Ann Marie relocated to the Fargo–Moorhead area from Columbia City, Indiana. She and her late husband, Michael, raised three children. Ann Marie is proud to support Michael’s House.
